But within that, there are so many different sides to explore. From family dynamics and intergenerational patterns—to over-functioning and codependency—we’ll work together to define how the individual pieces of your past have created the template you’re currently living by…before coming up with a tailored plan for evolution.

COACHING IS *NOT* FOR YOU IF YOU ARE:

• Unhappy in your relationship but can't decide if you should stay or go. There are attachment dynamics happening in this situation that are best supported with therapy.
• Destabilized from: trauma, a jarring event, an abusive relationship, a very difficult breakup, or you're struggling with an addiction or an acute mental health issue. The support you need in all of these cases is, again, best supported by therapy.
• Looking for a hack to expedite your growth. We all wish there was one, but there's no quick-fix, least of all the depth-oriented coaching work I do.
• Highly focused on finding a relationship and you hope that if you fix yourself, you'll find The One. There are coaches who do this kind of work but that's not the aim of my work.

A 30-minute discovery call helps us get to know each other and begin to build the foundation for a meaningful mentorship.

DIP YOUR TOES

Your first session is a deep-dive into your life's journey that will show us where to begin our work together. We’ll then try a few additional sessions to see if things feel right before we work into a set schedule.

CONTINUED GROWTH

An individually tailored plan helps you meet your goals for growth, with 50-minute every-other-week sessions at $250 each.

Coaching and therapy seem similar because they both aim to help people live more fulfilling lives. But they're actually quite different modalities of work and it's important that you know a bit about each of them so you can make an an informed choice about which path is best for you. Coaching is a place to build skills, get educated, increase your sense of clarity and choice, and learn how to engage in your life in new ways. Therapy is a place to deep-dive into your inner world and address mental health issues, as well as to work through trauma.

What's the difference between coaching & therapy?

Coaching assumes that, overall, you feel mentally and emotionally well. Obviously everyone experiences worry and upset. But coaching assumes you mostly feel balanced, resourced, and ready to lean into doing things in a new way in your life. Therapy welcomes you with whatever level of distress, dysregulation, crisis, trauma, addiction, or mental health issues you may be experiencing.

What's the difference between coaching & therapy?

On a scale of supportive to challenging, coaching is more challenging as it encourages you to lean into trying new things in order to achieve your goals. Therapy, on the other hand, is more supportive as it holds space for you to explore and learn how to work with your inner world. Every practitioner has their own ways of working so this can vary a lot. But in general, coaching being more forward-leaning and challenging with therapy being more supportive is a safe bet.

What's the difference between coaching & therapy?

Professional boundaries are different with coaches and therapists. Coaching is more conversational and you'll likely get to know personal information about your coach though anecdotes, teaching stories, and chatting. Therapists have a much stronger boundary and are trained to show up authentically, but to leave themselves at the door. This gives you the experience of having a space that’s entirely for you, which can be very healing for doing deep work.

What's the difference between coaching & therapy?

Coaching asks you to set goals, show up to each session knowing what you want to discuss and work on, and (do your best) to follow through on the weekly actions, or homework, you commit to. Therapists vary in their approach, but generally hold you with more spaciousness, meeting you where you are without directing you to say, do, or make anything happen other than to be where you are.

Coaching is not covered by insurance and is entirely out of pocket. Therapy can sometimes be covered by insurance. Choosing a practitioner where you can easily afford their services make a huge difference in being able to get the support you need.

Overall, if you feel resourced and balanced, like a direct approach, want to build skills and get educated so you can practice showing up in new ways now, and are able to pay entirely out of pocket, coaching will be a great fit for you. Conversely, if you feel unstable, notably off-balance, are dealing with mental health, addiction, or issues stemming from unresolved trauma, desire a supportive approach, or want insurance to cover your fee, therapy will be a great fit for you.

A successful coaching experience—where you look forward to sessions, move towards your goals, & feel fulfilled by the process—starts with a strong, comfortable connection in the coaching relationship. During this 30-minute initial video call, we'll talk about the challenges you're facing, explore the areas where you want to grow, go over my approach to coaching, and decide if we're a good fit for doing some empowering work together. Discovery Sessions are $35 and ongoing coaching is $250/session.

This is a laser-focused coaching session where we'll unpack what's been making you feel stuck so you can feel clearer and more confident to take empowering action in your life.
